"Kachiko" Wins her Maiden in Style

Promising 3yo Filly "Kachiko" ex (High Chaparral x Happy Empress) was brilliant when winning the John Duff & Co Maiden Plate at Cranbourne on Wednesday.

Racing over 1400m, the filly having only her 3rd race start, beat her nearest rival by 2 Lengths and the remainder of the field by a following 8 Lengths.

A 1/2 sister to Group 1 Epsom Handicap winner Rock Kingdom, the filly showed that she has the speed and will only continue to improve with experience & distance.
