All Too Easy For Exceedingly At Mornington

Lightly raced galloper Exceedingly Easy provided trainer Grahame Begg with a memorable win at Mornington on Friday.

The Maiden victory for the daughter of All Too Hard was Begg's first runner out of his new Caulfield base and his first win for owners Musk Creek Farm and their partners.

"I was really chuffed with that win as the filly along with my staff had only moved to Caulfield on Monday so for both to adapt and adjust so quickly was a real Credit".

"It was also very satisfying to train a winner for Musk Creek". "They and their partners were one of the first to give me a horse to train after I moved down from Sydney so to reward them with a win and give something back means a bit".

Exceedingly Easy did a very good job to win on Friday. She knuckled and nearly fell leaving the Barriers but fortunately rider Clayton Douglas stayed on board and from there on in gave her a great ride to get the win.

"We thought her run two back at Geelong from the rear was excellent but then we probably rode her too close in the run last start at Cranbourne so we came back a fraction in trip and I asked Clayton to ride her a little more conservative today and happily they both did the job".
